Working method and general terms

    • Please describe your idea as clearly as possible in your booking request. Also indicate the desired placement and an estimate of the size (in cm).

    • Send a few inspiration images to give a clear picture of your idea. That way Jim can create a design that fits your wishes perfectly.

    • Once we agree on the design idea, you will receive a link to the digital agenda. You can use this to choose a date and schedule the appointment yourself.

    • Based on your idea, Jim makes a sketch of the design prior to the appointment. He will show this to you at the start of the appointment, or he will email you a day in advance. No exceptions are made to this.

    • At the start of the appointment, the tattoo design is discussed, elaborated and finalized. With your input, any adjustments or additions can be made. At that time, the exact placement and size of the tattoo is also considered.

    • Jim does not copy designs from other tattoo artists.

    • For a larger or more complex project, Jim offers to schedule a consultation prior to the appointment, to discuss ideas for the design and create a concept.

    • The price of the tattoo is given based on the size of the tattoo, the complexity of the design, and the placement on the body.

    • The following guideline is used for pricing:

    Small sized: 1 - 6 cm, fineline texts, symbols etc.; €100 - €300 per session.

    Medium sized: 5 - 15 cm; €200 - €450 per session.

    Large sized: 15+ cm, €450 - €900 per session. For projects of multiple sessions, €900 per day session is charged.

    • The price may deviate from this guideline in the case of, for example, high complexity/detail in the design, or placement on the ribs.

    • A price estimate can be given prior to the appointment. This estimate is not binding and can be deviated from at any time.

    • If you wish to stay within a certain budget, please indicate this in advance.

    • To make an appointment, a deposit of €100 euros is requested. No refund is possible for a deposit. The deposit serves to reserve the booking date and is deducted from the cost of the tattoo.

    • Changes to the design are free of charge, unless the design has to be completely redrawn.

    • Studio Sable is open from Monday to Friday. If these days are not feasible for you, it is possible to make a weekend appointment. A weekend rate is charged for an appointment during the weekend (Sat-Sun). The weekend rate is €200 extra, and is added to the rest of the costs.

    • Payments must be made immediately after the tattoo session. Preferably via PIN. Cash is also possible.

    • If you have to reschedule the appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you must let us know at least 5 working days prior to the appointment so that we can rearrange our agenda. You can reschedule your appointment once without losing your deposit.

    • If you do not cancel or reschedule the appointment within the notice period of 5 working days, a new deposit is required to continue working together.

    • It is allowed to bring one person to the appointment.

    • Only clients are allowed in the tattoo area of ​​the studio. Any visitor other than the tattoo customer is asked to stay in the waiting area.

    • Please do not drink alcohol on the day prior to the appointment and on the day of the appointment itself. This causes excessive bleeding during the session and problems with the healing process. This also makes the tattoo more painful and the process takes longer.

    • To avoid low blood sugar, make sure you are well rested and have had something to eat before your appointment.

    • Make sure you wear comfortable clothes that make the tattoo process easy. For example, a sleeveless shirt is useful for a tattoo on the upper arm, or shorts are useful for a tattoo on the leg.

    • Bring your own lunch and snacks. Tattoos are less painful if your body is well nourished. In the studio there is a microwave and refrigerator available for you to use. The studio offers free coffee, tea and soft drinks.

    • If you are late, please notify us in time via email or Instagram DM. If you are more than 30 minutes late without notice, the appointment will be canceled without a refund.

    • If you do not show up for the appointment without notice, you will lose your deposit and we will not be able to continue working together.

    • No tattoos are done on persons under the age of 18.

    • In case of health problems, allergies, blood thinning medication, pregnancy, etc. please indicate this in advance.

    • By paying the deposit you agree to the entire policy above, and you agree that the deposit is non-refundable for any reason.

    • Conditions and working methods may differ from other artists working at Studio Sable.
